Stone floor

Stone floors are a unique element of interior and exterior. In order to implement a floor project, we cut stone floor details into various shapes, glue mosaics and perform various stone surface treatment methods.
To ensure the best result, we perform a full range of floor installation works. We consult, measure, design, manufacture, weigh, deliver to the site, install and provide product maintenance instructions. All stone floor-related works not only in Lithuania but also abroad.

Where is stone flooring suitable?

Stone floors are perfect for various facilities that require a durable and high-class coating:

- In public buildings;
- Bus stations (burnt, non-slip granite
- At railway stations;
- In state institutions;
- In commercial buildings;
- At home (bathroom, kitchen, vestibule, living area);
- Villas;
- In restaurants;
- In hotels, etc.

The standard thickness of natural stone floors cut from slabs is 20 or 30 mm. When planning a smaller detail format (up to 0.25 m2), the thickness of the details can be smaller.

Flooring Made of stone slabs by special order

We cut floors from natural stone slabs with preliminary dimensions of 2800x1600x20 or 30 mm. Since we apply stricter geometry and accuracy standards to floor finishing from slabs, the seams between the products can be extremely small - up to 1 mm. Floor details, by special order, will have a solid pattern, as they are cut from a single carriage of slabs. They can be produced in various geometric shapes (to form patterns and compositions). We code the details in order to maintain the continuity of the natural stone pattern in the room.

Custom-made stone for flooring

Outdoors

Rough-surface granite is best. Living in Lithuania, due to the seasons and constantly changing weather conditions, the floor surface must be non-slip, moisture-resistant, and able to withstand cold/heat cycles.

In commercial buildings

In spaces with high wear intensity, we suggest choosing harder types of stone: granite, quartzite.

SPA, swimming pools, saunas

We recommend choosing easy-to-maintain stone types with a textured surface finish (sandblasted, bushhammered) and an appropriate slipperiness class (for walking barefoot);

At home

We offer marble, travertine and limestone floors. Due to the extremely wide selection of natural marble types, the floors can be applied in both modern and classic style spaces.

Advantages of stone floors

Longevity

Stone is one of the strongest and highest quality materials created by nature, so you will be able to enjoy floors that are resistant to daily wear and tear for many years.

Uniqueness

The stone used in your object will be one-of-a-kind, so you will not see the same one in any other object.

Easy maintenance

The installed floor can be sanded or polished (reference: floor polishing). The sanded stone becomes smooth, the seams between the pieces become less visible, and the floor maintenance becomes easier.

Resistance

Choosing the right type of stone will keep floor wear to a minimum.

Conductivity

If heated floors are installed, the stone will accumulate heat in the winter. In the summer, the stone remains cold and you can cool down by walking barefoot.

A sense of quality

By furnishing a building with stone floors, you will undoubtedly create a unique and high-quality design.

Flooring made of standard stone tiles

Various formats

We offer standard size tiles, which we source from reliable suppliers. Preliminary dimensions of marble and granite tiles (may vary depending on the stone):
- 300x300x12 mm
- 600x300x15 mm
- 600x600x20 mm

Simple installation

The edges of standard tiles can be beveled for easier installation. Since natural stone tiles are usually small, they can be installed by an experienced ceramic, stone, or tile installer (the services of highly qualified stone product installers are not necessary).

Attractive price

Stone flooring made from standard natural stone tiles is a great solution for those who want the benefits of natural stone flooring at an attractive price. Smaller format tiles are cut from smaller blocks and have lower precision requirements than products made from large format slabs.

Unique stone floor surface

POLISHED

In modern and minimalist interiors, polished stone flooring is most often chosen. Matte floors will look cozy and warm, and small scratches are less visible.

POLISHED

The polished and shiny surface of the stone looks luxurious, capturing the extremely bright shine and color of natural stone.

ANTIQUE

For those who want the most natural stone floors possible, you can choose antique, brushed natural stone. This stone is processed to highlight the natural structure of the stone and create a deep effect.

Sandblasted

For slippery areas (SPAs, swimming pools, sauna areas), textured finishes such as sandblasting and bush-hammering can be chosen. This will ensure safety in areas with increased slipperiness and allow you to enjoy a comfortable environment.

Floor mosaics, patterns

Floor mosaics are special, one-of-a-kind ornamental compositions tailored to a specific room. We produce them with the latest, highly accurate measuring equipment and stone processing techniques.

Types of stone

Compositions can use one or more different types of natural stone. We recommend choosing materials of similar hardness so that after the mosaic is installed, the surface can be sanded evenly and the installed floor will wear evenly.

Ornaments

We can create not only simple, but also extremely high-precision orders with plant or other motifs.

Invoices

Floor mosaics can be textured and of different depths.

Stone floor polishing

After the installation of natural stone flooring, grinding and polishing with special equipment creates a seamless surface effect. The seams between the stone pieces become flush with the stone surface.

Benefits of polishing natural stone floors:

- Dirt and mold do not accumulate in the seams;
- During crystallization, the stone structure hardens;
- Easier to clean and maintain;
- Homogeneous stone effect - looks more aesthetically pleasing;
- Tiles stay shiny, like new, for longer.
