MARBLE
Marble is a metamorphic rock whose crystalline limestone structure was formed under high pressure and very high temperature. Marble can be pure (metamorphic origin) or recomposed (sedimentary origin). Marble is not very hard (3-4 points on the Mohs scale), it is characterized by a certain variety of granulometry and color shades of its components. The color of marble depends on the presence of mineral impurities (clay, silt, sand, iron oxides and creamy and/or chalky inclusions); white marble does not contain these impurities.
This natural stone captivates with its aesthetics and elegance. It is very important to choose the right type of stone so that the products will bring joy for many years. AKMI specialists will help you choose the marble that best suits your project.

Marble uses
Wide applicability
Although marble is best displayed on large surfaces, it has recently been used frequently for accessories and furniture finishes. While the material's weight may once have been a barrier, modern solutions for lightening the stone make it even easier to apply.
Today, combining antiquity and modernity, this is no longer the case: new technologies and CNC equipment that allow for extremely precise processing of stone slabs, together with modern interpretations of natural stone, have finally opened the door to new directions of use in which marble is the main or complementary character.
Elegance
The timeless elegance of marble has remained unchanged. In fact, marble can add sophistication to any room: simply adding decorative elements or marble furniture will make the room stand out.
Marble in different spaces
Marble is unparalleled – perfect for both residential and commercial spaces. Used for staircases, columns and walls, marble gives rooms a sense of exclusivity, elegance and creates a sense of greater space. In classic interiors, butterfly-effect compositions can be found, while in modern spaces, maintaining the continuity of the natural stone pattern is of utmost importance.
Marble textured surface treatments
These textures are obtained by applying mechanical processing cycles, using various technologies, both traditional and developed in-house. Each stage of the process is ecological, without the use of chemicals or other additives.
Natural stone textures are timeless and attract the eye with their uniqueness.
Special treatments aim to return the stone to its natural origin, highlighting its beauty and imperfections: each slab becomes a unique and unrepeatable piece.
