Modern house Travertino Romano

Travertine is a natural stone valued for its warm color, lively texture, and authentic character. In this project, it is used on both horizontal and vertical surfaces, highlighting the different properties of the stone. The countertops are made of travertine, their surface is sealed with a special sealant - this allows you to maintain aesthetics, but ensures easier maintenance during daily use. Meanwhile, the vertical, accent surfaces are left natural - with open pores and characteristic cavities, which give the interior a distinctiveness and authenticity. It is important to note that travertine is less resistant to acids and dyes, and therefore requires more careful care. However, the natural wear of the stone over time is part of it - this gives the surfaces uniqueness and life.
