New Swiss digital scanning technology installed at AKMI
3D laser scanning is an effective solution for high-precision architectural measurements. It is a huge leap forward compared to linear or electronic total station measurements.
An experienced 3D laser scanning system operator-measurer can measure up to 20 projects of varying complexity in one working day. The available measurement results are easily combined into a single cloud of measurement points, obtaining an accurate spatial model of the current situation, allowing for the creation of working drawings and technological descriptions for the implementation of the project. The enormous speed and high density of measurements allow for the accurate determination of the spatial coordinates of objects. Using a 3D laser scanning system, the measurement results no longer depend on the „human factor”. 3D scanning technology is the most effective in all cases, except for simple dimensional measurements of small and medium-sized premises, which require low accuracy.
